Some Facts About Honey Bees

  • Honey bees pollinate at least one-third of all food crops we consume.
  • The crops we consume are becoming mostly GMO and heavily insecticided – seriously threatening the existance of the bees we rely upon.
  • The honey bee uses the most complex symbolic language of any animal on earth, outside of the primate family.

The happiness of the bee and the dolphin is to exist. For man it is to know that and to wonder at it. Jacques Yves Cousteau
